Hey Mom and Dad!
So what a week it has been! So I got my new companion on Monday evening last week! What a relief that was! Being a solo missionary for a few days was definitely not my most favorite experience out here! His name is Elder Frandsen and he's from Utah! Pretty cool guy! We've been working really well together, and he is learning the area fast! Haha this past week we were enjoying seriously! I really love this area so much and have just gotten to know the members so well! Last week, everyday we had FM's which was a record! The work has being going well. We have been able to go and teach with members and work really closely with the Ward mission leader which has really helped in our proselyting efforts. Having a local member from the ward with us just makes it so much easier in quickly killing false concerns or beliefs in the church and getting straight into lessons! We really have been blessed! Last week primarily we just had been doing a whole lot of finding and contacting which is always a fun thing to do! Get to practice and work on my Twi and Ga skillz lol! The work is doing great though! Everybody in the Zone is starting to recognize that I've been here for quite a while now so amongst the missionaries I'm "nungua man" now apparently! Ah well! Been working alot with Selom though! We see him quite regularly! He will come and proselyte with us this week I'm sure! So it will be great! It has been awesome to see the miracle of repentance and change that the gospel brings in his life! He is one of my closest friends out here! He loves french toast too much too hahahaha! We have some baptisms coming up at the end of the month which should be exciting! I'm really looking to extend some more this coming week! So far in Nungua we have had 17 baptisms which has been nice. It's really cool going to church and seeing all the people you've taught just striving their best to stay strong! Being district leader has been interesting too. District councils have been fun. We have them every Tuesday so it's always fun to prepare for. Sundays are usually busy after church doing call in summary reports to the district and ZL's too...It's really made me kind of look out more for others which has been great. The ward is doing well and I'm still just absolutely loving it here in Nungua!!! I'm so happy you's got that package! The post office I sent it from didnt look to friendly so I was a little hesitant, but all went though well! I'll be sure to bring a bunch of Kente ties and other things back home! Thats some tradition wear haha! Glad you's liked it! Im looking forward to this upcoming week though! Alot of work to be done and I've really just been doing my best to focus my efforts and everything on others! I came across a talk from David.A.Bednar on the "character of Christ" and I loved it too much! It was alot about how Christ looks out and how we having the "natural man" look inwards to ourselves. As we look outwards, forget about ourselves our own personal worries, stresses, and problems seem to just go away! Something that I've really been experiencing over these last few weeks! I'm so grateful for my Saviors example and I strive to follow him more wholly everyday! It's a process for sure, but in turn very rewarding! I hope you have a great week though Mom and Dad! All is well in Nungua! Love yous! Elder Fesolai
