Well what a week it has been! I also can't believe that this week is my last week. Time has just been going by too fast and It's all just coming to an end to quickly!
Well I guess to begin, I will start with the coolest news! On Wednesday we got permission to go into Accra and go to the temple as my Recent convert, Dominic went through for this Endowment and was sealed to his wife which was just wonderful! Elder Winborg and I baptized him in December 2015 and what a way to finish my mission getting to see him perform the ordinances and make the covenants. I suppose he has progressed past me in the Gospel for now lol! But it was such a wonderful experience and opportunity! I was a witness at the sealing which was cool too. I am really really grateful for the success and experiences the Lord has enabled me to have whilst on my mission! During the week we were also able to visit Phillip a few times which was sweet! He is a recent convert here who is almost completely blind. But that does not stop him from coming to church and doing all he can to grow in the Gospel! We taught him about missionary work and we done a small role play with him and he done so awesome! He is unable to read so he really only gets to learn when he's at church or when we come and visit him. He is doing so well though and is trying so hard! We also visited all the Grandchildren who were baptized the other week. Wilhelmina, Ivonna, Rosemond and Samuel. We taught them more about the Book of Mormon and the importance of daily scripture study. We began reading with them together and started at 1 Nephi. We read at first only 1 chapter and were about to wrap things up but they wanted to keep reading so we read up to chapter 2! It was awesome! They are just so excited about everything and are doing their best to do what is right! We invited them to read together each night when they get time! We will see them again on Tuesday. On Saturday we were able to do an awesome service project as a district at a members farm! We had a tonne of fun and got some solid work done! We were picking pineapples, paw paw, passion fruit and doing a tonne of weeding with cutlasses. I got absolutely destroyed by these ants though during the day as I was caught up in it's nest as we were making a path to the bamboo to collect to repair the shelter there. Great day though. Joseph who was baptized the other week hasn't been to church for 2 weeks now though as he has been sick. It started off with his stomach disturbing him but then now his waist is paining him. However he is so dedicated when it comes to reading and in his absence he has a read a tonne of the Gospel principles book and the scriptures. I had noticed when we had a lesson with him and his knowledge and testimony of the doctrines was amazing. On Sunday after church we went and visited him and offered him a blessing as he had not had one yet. So we were able to do that and straight after wards the dude was all up and ready. It was funny because of his character, he used to be in the military. We are working on teaching the rest of his family though! He is a great example to them and I know he will also be an instrument in bringing more people to the knowledge of the truth! Church yesterday was awesome though! Fast Sunday was sweet and it was just odd to think that next fast Sunday I'll be back home in Frankston ward lol! I will miss out on the first Stake conference on the 24-25th of June as they will turn Koforidua from a District to a stake! Exciting stuff! From my studies this week, I learnt alot more about the big role the Book of Mormon has in the process of conversion! I have come to understand why a little more. Since I've been on my mission and seen the change it brings to others lives I have come to know it was because it brings them closer to the Savior. The Book of Mormon being another Testament teaches clearly about the Savior and his mission, his role in the Plan of Salvation and the Atonement! It helps us to become more converted to the Lord and his teachings and we read and apply it's teachings. It has blessed many lives as I've helped others see it's truth and goodness and it has blessed my own. Anyway I think that's it for this week! I think this might be my last email home which is crazy! I just want to share my testimony though that I know God lives. He is real. He is our Father in Heaven and he knows and loves us all. Because of his love for us a devised a plan for us to become like him. I know that he sent his Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior so that plan could come to pass. He makes our Salvation possible, our future brighter and our lives more abundant with peace and joy. I love him. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to be a prophet and Restore the Only true and Living church back to the earth. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. It is true and will help us to know of the truthfulness of all these things. I know we are led by a living prophet and as we follow his councils and guidance we will not be led astray. I am very very grateful for this opportunity I have had to serve as a missionary and representative of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has been amazing and I cannot explain how happy I am and have been through out this experience. It has been a blessing to be an instrument in his hands and receive his strength and support, day in and day out. I know That Jesus is the Christ. He lives! Anyway hope you guys have an amazing week! Just doing my best over here to finish strong and get as much as I can done this week! It feels weird saying this but I guess I will see you's next week hahaha! Anyway Love you Mom and Dad! Thanks for all the love and support! Elder Fesolai

Well this week has also gone by quickly! It seems the days are just zooming by, and I think it's because I've been trying to have the mentality that I still have like 5 months left lol! Doesn't feel like I'll be home in a little less than 3 weeks, but at the same time it's just really strange! I am definitely going to miss these Ghanaians alright...Will have to adjust to the "obrouni" world lol...
Anyway Elder Vea and I are getting along so well! It's been cool since we have a lot in common, but I'm just doing my best to help him learn the area, get to know the members very well and just how to work the area. So far so good! During the week we spent a lot of time visiting and teaching Recent Converts, Less Actives and also members. It's been going well and little by little referrals are beginning to come. I just want to leave the area better than when I came, so there is always more to do each day...when the rain is not making things difficult! For 3 out of the 7 days this week it rained for like 4 hours straight, and not just your casual rain...it was pouring like crazy! There were small floods here and there but nothing to serious. It just made things frustrating when we want to teach as people are to busy fetching/collecting rain water and hiding in their houses. All good though. This week should be way awesome though! I am super excited for this Wednesday. One of my recent convert's who was baptized December 2015 is planning to go through for his Endowment and also get Sealed! I was so stoked to find out when I called him during the week to check up on him that he had received his temple recommend and was preparing to go this week! Perfect timing! The joy it brings to witness and be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to help others make and keep covenants. I guess to share a quick thought though from my studies this week, is a scripture I liked so much in Alma 31:5. I know that the word of God has power that will help us to experience a mighty change of heart and mind. As we seek to study the scriptures, listen to and hearken to the councils of our leaders, we will be greatly blessed! I know it to be true as I've served and been able to preach the Word, help others receive it and also study it my self. That's kind of it for this week though! Bro Buckman, one of the RM's has travelled to his home town until he leaves for his mission which was sad. He's going to come back down for my last Sunday though! We proselyted alot with him and he helped us alot with translating! Such an awesome and humble member who wants to do the Lords work! Hope you's have an awesome week though! Love yous! Elder Fesolai Well this week has been awesome! Some unexpected things also occurred! Elder Bankole and I didn't expect this to be our last week together as a companionship! Mission is like that I suppose though! Elder Bankole has been transferred really close to Nungua which is cool!
My new companion will be Elder Vea! So I should meet him later today which will be sweet! I have 3 weeks to get to know him and also show him the area. It is definitely going to make the rest of the short time I have left fly by! Bankole and I were able to do some solid teaching this week which was awesome. We've been doing finding too which always is interesting. It's sometimes hard to find motivation after appointments fall through during the day, but once we start it is fun! During one of the evenings this week we went to check on some members and we caught them studying the scriptures together which was awesome! Bro Francis who is the Elders Quorum Pres and Bro Moses who is the YM Quorum Pres usually meetup in the evenings and study the scriptures together which is awesome! We met with them and studies and had a discussion about prayer and faith which was wonderful. It's is really humbling and inspiring to see true and faithful members sacrificing time in their evenings to study the word of God! On Thursday I went on an exchange with Elder Harris. He is one of the ZL's who is going home. He actually flies out tomorrow. It was a cool day though and we went and visited a member in their ward, Bro Entwi. He is blind, but is such a solid member with a booming testimony. We had a lesson on the Gospel and had an awesome discussion! I also got to travel to a place called Suhum with Elder Harris as he had to do an interview for the District Leader out there! Pretty cool day though. Saturday Morning we had to shoot out early to do some interviews for the missionaries in Oyoko. That was sweet. One of the guys I interviewed, Jarvis, was just so ready and prepared to be baptized! He had such a strong desire to learn and do as the Lord commands! After heading back from Oyoko we had to fill the font and prepare for our baptism! So Wilhelmina, Ivonna, Rosemond, Samuel and Joseph were all baptized Saturday and it was an awesome service. I think these might be my last baptisms before heading home. They were all so happy though, and it was an awesome service. The spirit was strong! Not as many people were able to turn up though because of the storm...all was well though. The sabbath yesterday was great though. All the confirmations were done and they were all super stoked as were we! Speaking to Joseph afterwards he expressed how he was so happy and how much joy he felt. I know that the Gospel and following the Savior brings great joy to our lives. It brings direction and purpose to our lives and I know it is all true. During my Studies this week I continued to study from the Plan of Salvation. I am always caught in awe and stuck pondering forever the Atonement of Jesus Christ! I know that he makes the Plan possible and that without him we would forever be unable to do anything for our self. I know that because of the Fall we are able to be here, and that because of the Atonement we can have joy and have the opportunity to return back to the presence of our Father in Heaven. Looking forward to another week though. Time is running out and I want to leave it all out in the field! Hope you're all doing well though! Hope you's have an awesome week! Try not to count down the days lol...Love yous! Elder Fesolai Well another week is in the dust and time just keeps on ticking! It was so so wonderful to get to talk to you both this weekend! I heard that Mom was over the moon, but I was super stoked too lol! Was awesome to hear your voices and get to catch up!
Also a late Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Mothers back home! I wished many Mothers a Happy Mothers Day here too! I've been so blessed in all my areas with wonderful Families who have treated us missionaries like their sons! This week was great! We were unable to proselyte as much as we usually do, but it was for good reasons! On Tuesday we had our Zone Conference and President Heid and Sister Heid came up with the AP's and Office Elders. It was a solid conference and we were given some great council and instruction from our Leaders. Sister Heid talked about Christlike and Leadership qualities! One that I learnt more about though is Integrity! Which is to be completely honest with yourself and others. Even when no one is around! There is so much peace and security in that! Also about complimenting people! Haha, I feel as missionaries we compliment people a lot to make them feel happy. Serving a mission and trying to represent the Lord has opened my eyes and helped me to have a love and desire for the happiness for others! Compliments help with that! Following that we had a super massive feed which was awesome. I did take advantage of the opportunity and ate a tonne of chicken lol...see my life! Last week the Grandchildren (Wilhelmina, Ivonna, Samuel and Rosemond) of Sister Sosori all returned from their home towns. They are all preparing to be baptized this coming Saturday, so last week they were super happy to see us again and be able to learn! They are so brilliant, and just super quick in learning the Gospel! They also love living it, and reading the Book of Mormon! We continued to teach Joseph the Commandments last week as well and still...he is continuing to just humble submit and do what the Lord would have him do! He is doing so great and is super stoked for his baptism this Saturday! It just always brings joy to your heart when other of Heavenly Fathers children experience a mighty change of heart. It's been an awesome experience as a missionary to be an instrument in the Lord's hand to help others be partakers of the blessings of his Gospel! This week I've been studying alot about the Plan of Salvation though. As I was studying Alma Chapter 12, it was made so clear to me the love that Heavenly Father has for us. The same for his Son and our Savior Jesus Christ. As Alma proclaimed to Zeezrom the Great Plan of Redemption it is made so clear how hard our Father in Heaven is working to help us have happiness. We have agency, but he does all he can to persuade and direct us to him! It filled my soul with so much joy and comfort to know this. Some times we maybe feel that God is just 'chilling' in heaven on his throne or enjoying haha...But I know that he is actively engaged in helping us to be partakers on eternal joy and life. Verses 28-35 are just so sweet! Matter of fact I recommend the whole chapter. I am so grateful for the Gospel and the Book of Mormon! The guidance and hope it brings is so so wonderful and I know with all my heart that this sacred record is TRUE. It is the word of God. It will bless our lives and will help us to know of the truthfulness of our faith. Over the weekend we also had our District Conference for Koforidua. Again President and Sister Heid were here as he is in charge of the districts our mission covers. It was such a great weekend though as we attended all the sessions, and the spirit and joy of all the Saints here in Koforidua that were gathered was so so awesome! I'm looking forward to another week though! Praying that everything goes well and we are able to have the baptisms this week! Also keen to just get out and teach some people! All the teachings of the Church are just so sweet, and I love getting to know them, live them, and share them with others! I hope you's have an awesome week though! Lol don't count down the days too much! I'm doing my best to keep my mind busy! Thanks for all you do though Mom and Dad! Love you's! P.S No pics this week...sorry o! Next week though lol! Well this week has been awesome. It's been raining a tonne this week which has been a little annoying but it's made the air cool which is really nice! Our apartment kind of flooded because the rain was just so intense a few of the days this week. But nothing to serious again. All good though. It's nice to get to mop in the morning lol.
Elder Bankole and I have been great though! We are still going around Effiduase trying to talk to and teach all those that are willing to listen to us! Alot of people here just don't speak that much english so it can be pretty interesting at times, but they always crack up when we start speaking Twi. It's fun though. We've been going out teaching with some members during the week which is making things a bit more smooth too! This week we have our district conference so our baptisms have to be postponed to next week! We are planning to have 5 so that should be awesome! 4 of them are the grandchildren of one of the sisters in our ward! We teach them all together and they are super brilliant! The other one is Joseph who we started teaching last month! He has been coming to church every sunday since we met him and the guy is a legend! He is crack up! So sincere though and willing to do whatever is asked from the Lord. Every commanded we talked to him about last week he was willing to keep for the rest of his life. He talked to us how he knew it was all true, and the peace and joy he felt at church. It's amazing how hard Heavenly Father is working to help and prepare so many people to receive the Gospel. I know he hears and answers each and every single one of our prayers! During the week we went and offered service at one of the members farms! Was so crazy hot that day, but we were able to get a tonne of work done and it was cool to just get to work on the farm! We were just harvesting pineapples, planting some plantain trees and doing a TONNE of weeding with cutlasses. So it was a pretty solid service project and we might go again in the coming weeks! Was a tonne of fun though as we were with one of the YSA and also some of the young men. I've been reading a lot from the book Jesus the Christ lately and each time I pick that book up and read I learn something new about the Savior. It continues to increase my love and desire to follow him and be better everyday as I come to learn more about his perfect character and willingness to do whatever Heavenly Fathers will is because of his love for us and the Father. I'm just grateful for his example that I can look to for guidance and courage each and everyday. I know that he has overcome the world, and so can we as we put our trust in him, keep his commandments and offer a broken heart and contrite spirit. I suppose that is it for this week though! I suppose I will wish you a Happy Mothers day for this Sunday Mom! Looking forward to getting to call! I can't believe how fast time is flying though. Felt like yesterday we were skyping around Christmas and you guys were being sad eating donuts in front of us haha. Hope you's have a wonderful week though! Love yous! Elder Fesolai Well another week down! It's official now, I have 6 weeks till I'm back! It's starting to feel really odd that my mission is coming to and end! Keen to just continue trying to do what I do best as a missionary...teach, find, serve and eat lol.
This week we had a lot of appointments fall through which is always disappointing and frustrating. Led us to our usual backup plan of finding and visiting members and less actives though which was sweet. This week 2 of the Less Actives we've been working on reactivating came to church which was awesome. I suppose during the week we've just been stopping by when we pass by their area, try and interact with them, joke, and look for opportunities to serve. It's been cool becoming good friends with them, but it's been amazing re sparking their desire to follow the Savior and do what is right. We are continuing to teach Bro. Joseph. He is just so humble and willing to meet and learn with us. He came to church again this Sunday bright and early which was fetching sweet! He has such a strong desire to learn and do what is right. Little by little we are working on getting him to also bring his whole family to church. It's hard as his wife attends another church at the moment but in time I am sure! The happiness and joy you see in this mans life as he is living what we teach him is so contagious! We also started teaching some really cool guys who play for a paraplegic football team. They all speak not too much english so we always have a translator with us but it is super funny interacting with them and helping them learn and understand the Restored Gospel. It is so awesome when we get to take Bro Buckman one of the branch missionaries out with us to teach as he is usually our translator. He is also preparing to go on a mission very soon and his testimony of the Gospel and of the Savior is just so powerful. It is just amazing to have him with us, and we just have fun and get a tonne of work done too. I suppose that is it for this week though! Continuing to just leave it all out in the field and finish strong. Gotta admit some days are better than others, but the Lord always gives me the strength sufficient to just get done what needs to be done each day. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and the strength, comfort and desire it gives me everyday to just do good and choose what is right. I know and testify that this book transforms lives, and assists us in experiencing a mighty change of heart as we study and ponder it's teachings diligently with prayer. It has blessed and changed my life, and also my investigators. I would encourage people to give it a 'fair go'...as aussies would say? Hope you have an awesome week though Mom and Dad! Will be great to get to chat next week for Mother's Day! Lol, will be better to chat in person 4 weeks after that! Love you's though! Thanks for your, love, support and all you do! Elder Fesolai Well what a week it has been. Unfortunately this week alot of people decided to dodge our appointments and not keep commitments but it was a sweet week nevertheless!
I've been doing alot of pondering and thinking during our down time and it hit me pretty heavily this week that I would be coming home rather soon than it feels like haha! So I've really just been striving to leave my all out in the field and preach, teach and just open my mouth and get the good word out! This week we were able to continue to teach this man Joe (Joseph). We met him contacting one day. He actually stayed in the house next door to the person we were supposed to meet with but he was outside digging a make do drain for water to pass. So we spoke to him. This week we followed up with him and he has been reading the Book of Mormon. We taught him about the Gospel and Baptism, and he accepted a date! We were teaching with Buckman, one of the branch missionaries and we invited him to testify about his own conversion to the Gospel and the Savior. The spirit was strong as we also testified and it was just a super cool experience! He proceeded to follow through by coming to Church yesterday! So good! I also had to do an interview for the Zone Leaders during the week. His name was Kwadwo, and he is deaf. So the way I conducted the interview was with good ol pen and paper! It was a real humbling experience, and he was so ready and prepared to enter into a covenant with god and enter onto the covenant path back to our Father in Heaven! He was really kind, humble and had a burning desire to follow the Savior! I felt the spirit as he wrote his testimony on the paper...really great experience! It has been awesome proselyting with Bro. Buckman though! It has helped us so much with teaching as we can only speak so much Twi. We were able to visit and teach a heap of people and find some people who are really interested. I feel there will be some awesome work coming along in the up coming weeks! As I've been studying the Book of Mormon this week, I just hit Alma by the way, I read some interesting things about this not serious guy Nehor haha. He was an anti Christ and went around teaching false doctrines, flattering the people with his words and talking pretty boldly! I pondered it and wondered, man if this guy can teach false doctrines boldly then we knowing the truth, even the restored gospel can do so even 100x more powerfully, effectively!!! In a world where there a doctrines and philosophies of men leading us away from the Savior, we need to open our mouths and help people know about the true source of happiness, hope and peace. Jesus Christ! It is awesome to get to do this day in and day out and see the miracle of change it brings to the lives of those that listen and apply it to their lives! I think that's all for this week though! Only a few more weeks till Mothers Day lol! Keen to get to talk! Hope you's have an awesome week though! Love you Mom and Dad! Elder Fesolai Well Happy Easter! Sorry we were unable to cafe yesterday! So coming in a day late! It was a public holiday here in Ghana so most of the cafes were shut!
Anyhow, our week was okay! We were'nt able to teach as many lessons as we planned or liked, but it was alright! The rain continues to disturb every other day, and when it does, people hide...lol it can flood pretty hardcore sometimes! Nothing to serious though. Enough to scare the people though haha. One of our investigators Rose, is progressing super well. We were able to see her a few times during the week, and she is always reading the assignments we leave her in the Book of Mormon. She expressed her concern of coming to church though as she attends the same church as her mother and she is pressured alot by her! So we plan to see both her and her mother during this week and try and teach them together. We've tried in the past, but it kept falling through. Praying this week it will happen though! Each week we also try to visit Sister Comfort she is an Elderly lady who cant make it to church because she can't walk. However she is always reading the Book of Mormon that is in Twi. She doesn't speak english either so we go with Bro Buckman to teach her and speak what we can! We saw her this week though and taught her under an Orange tree, whilst eating oranges lol. Was pretty awesome. She is such a devout member tough and just loves the church and it's teaching! She loves the Savior! During the week we went and visited this one less active sister. Her name is Rose aswell and she hasn't been to church in ages. We visited her with the Branch President the week before last and we followed up with her again. We talked about the temple and she had been in before to do baptisms. I asked her how she felt when she was inside the temple and these were her words, "I never wanted to leave". Wow. I know temples are like heaven on earth, and they give us a slight glimpse of Heavenly Father's Kingdom. So we told her for her to enter again and feel of that peace and joy, she has to start coming to church, reading and praying again. She committed! Easter weekend was pretty sweet though! It made teaching a little sucky as literally everyone had their church programs to go too! Full on easter camps for churches and all that stuff from Thursday to Sunday where they just pray, dance and have live bands lol! Funny guys! So it disrupted our teaching appointments! Sunday was wonderful though! We confirmed Samuel too which was sweet. It was nice to just reflect on the Atoning Sacrifice of Jesus Christ though. You simply just cannot comprehend it all. We just have to be grateful and show our love back through our obedience to his gospel. That's it for this week though! Hope you guys have an awesome week! Time is really working against me here! I want to do so much, but time is ticking by too fast! It's scary! Love yous though! Elder Fesolai Well we have now entered into another transfer (6 weeks) Making this my last 'full' transfer. Having mixed emotions about it all but I've really enjoyed my mission so far and learnt so many wonderful lessons! Keen to smash out these last 9 weeks though haha!
This week went by too fast to be honest! Things are kind of just a blur in my mind but let me type them out to the best of my ability lol! We have been teaching alot of new people which has been great, and it's always just fun to meet and try help and serve new people each week! As we were going to new areas we haven't really adventured into too much we met this one guy Steven. He was just chilling at his house, and so we felt prompted to go and talk to him and see how he was doing. We ended up teaching him, and we got quite into the Restoration. Was a sweet lesson, it was so quiet, and we all just felt the spirit strongly. He didn't make it to church on Sunday because of commitments he already made, but this week he promised to come! Elder Bankole and I have also been going through our area book and looking at some of the old investigators previous missionaries have taught in the past. We met with 2 this past week and it has been a great experience...kind of one of those 'area book' story/experiences haha. So we called a few and managed to tee up an appointment with some! One was this lady Deborah, who had previously been taught but traveled to Accra and just lost contact with the mishos! We found out she was back in Effiduase for good, and she had been taught a whole lot actually, even was planning to be baptized. So when we met her we just had a long conversation and discussion about the things she had previously learnt and come to know were true! We also extended a date to her again which she accepted! A similar story, we were able to meet with this lady Francisca. It took us about 30 mins to find her house as we were in an unfamiliar area and it was dark...but with reasoning and the guidance of the spirit...we finally found the place lol! And we had a solid lesson too. It's interesting to see how happy these people were when they were able to meet with missionaries again! Thursday evening we went out with the branch presidency visiting less actives and to invite them to branch conference. It was really awesome, even though I didn't understand half of what was said lol. They love speaking the local dialects out here, but I felt the spirit, and the love and appreciation of those we were able to see. Branch Conference on Sunday went well too. Saw one of the members from Nungua who was visiting which was sweet! He was surprised to see me, though I had gone home already lol...nope! But after church we were blessed to have a baptism! Samuel was finally baptized yesterday and the support from the branch was so awesome! We held it straight after church and it was an awesome day and experience for Samuel! Elder Bankole and I are doing great though! Just continuing to look for ways to improve and serve each other and help the area grow at the same time! We're having a heap of fun, and time is just going by super quick! I hope as Easter approaches though, we continue to have the Savior on the front of our minds. The world, or mostly Christians tend to remember the death of Christ, but we remember and know that he lives! I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ! For his perfect example! It is so amazing and gives us reason to rejoice that although we are imperfect, there is one who is perfect. One who strengthens, supports, lifts us up and help us to be perfected through him! Jesus Christ! Hope you's have an awesome week though and don't pig out on too many hot cross buns and chocolate eggs and what not hahaha! As for us here, think I'll just eat normal eggs...on toast or something lol! Anywaaayy, love yous! Elder Fesolai Well another week down in Effiduase and it was okay! So in Ghana the tradition here is usually beginning on Fridays there are usually funerals where people dress in black and red and just eat food and celebrate the life of the person that has passed on. So this weekend there were many funerals in Effiduase which made it super difficult to teach, as many investigators were attending and most people on the streets were either going to or just coming home from one.
Anyway, though during the week we were able to have some pretty sweet lessons! Elder Bankole and I have been doing alot of finding and knocking on peoples houses and what not. We approached this one fairly nice house and on the front door was a sticker of a pastor advertising his church. When the person opened the door, we realized it was the guy on the sticker haha...a pastor. So we had a pretty interesting lesson with him about the Book of Mormon and the Restoration but it went pretty well! There was no contention or challenging coming from any of us and the spirit was there! He was really open and willing to learn! So we plan to see him again this week! So hopefully this Sunday we should have 1 baptism which should be sweet! Hopefully there will also be another 5 by the end of this month which will be exciting too! Trying to just continue teaching, helping people and finish my mission as a servant of the Lord strong! It's not easy but the joy that comes as we labor diligently in the Lords work is so great! This weekend we were privileged to watch General Conference too. We only watched the General Priesthood session, Saturday morning and evening, and Sunday morning sessions which were just awesome! I felt that a common theme amongst many of the talks was charity. President Monson spoke directly about charity, and gave a brief but powerful talk which I feel the world needed to hear! I've come to learn since I've been on mission how important it is to seek the gift of charity, even the perfect love of Christ in our lives. A greater light enters into our lives, and we are filled with compassion and love for others as we see them through the eyes of our Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. We see peoples potential, and not their mistakes, weaknesses or flaws. I know that is how the Savior sees us. I know his love for us is real, and that it will never fail us. Elder Bankole and I are doing great though! He is a legend and we're just steady doing all we can do each day to help the work go forward in this part of the Lord's vineyard! I'm grateful for the opportunity I have to be a missionary and learn the many lessons I have come to learn so far! I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He is the rock of our salvation. He is our example, that if we follow, he will lead us safely home. Being a missionary and striving to do as he would do has helped me to see how much he cares and loves us. I hope we continue to always learn of him and follow in his footsteps. I know it's the only way to true and everlasting peace, joy and happiness. I hope you's have a wonderful week though Mom and Dad! Don't start counting down, because I'm not...well I try not too lol! Love and Miss you's a heap though! Elder Fesolai |
