Hey Mom and Dad!
So it rained again all last week, but we were able to find and teach quite a few people despite it all! The weather sometimes reminds me of Melbourne weather...The sun is out and it's scorching then all of a sudden it's thunder storming and cold. boo! Anyway we contacted this new guy name Ricky...not your typical Ghanaian name haha. A real interesting man though! He's a bit older but he lived most of his life in the Netherlands, is really intelligent and speaks Dutch and German aswell as Twi and Ewe and almost every other dialect lol. He surprisingly knew quite a bit about the church, and so we continued chatting to him and taught him the Restoration. It went well and he committed to pray to know about the message and read from the Book of Mormon. He said he saw something in our countenances when we taught him...I know it's the spirit, and we are on the Lords Errand! During the week we were unable to see one of our seriously progressing investigators, Daniel, but it was really awesome to exercise his faith and Agency as he still came to church on the Sunday! He's a real truth seeker, and I'm hoping we can help him become converted to this Gospel! Church Yesterday was really sweet! Being Fast Sunday and all I got up to share my testimony. I ended up having to teach the Elder's Quorum class again. Being the first Sunday of the month, they always learn about and how to perform priesthood ordinances, so Pres had me take the lead in doing it. Focused on Administering to the sick. Was all good! After church we checked up on some of the members who werent at church to see how they were. They were really grateful that we came to visit them. It's so important that we make sure that those who fail to come to church are assured they are missed and known! Helps them keep the faith! Overall a pretty good week though! Looking forward to this week too! A whole bunch of following up to do, and we plan to find again aswell! So we're keeping busy as usual! Hope you's have a wonderful week though! Love you Mom and Dad! Elder Fesolai So heres a pic with some of our Recent Converts (grace and maonyo) and their uncle who we are teaching. His name is Emmanuel, funny guy! ELder Bulunga and I at our famous lunch spot lol... This is Arnold, one of the members haha. I'm teaching him how to read notes for piano. And this is how they weave Kente. Emmanuel actually does it so this is his work station. Pretty crazy how they do it!
