Hey Mom and Dad!
It was so awesome to chat with you guys this Christmas just gone! Cant believe this year is already coming to a close! Even more so the fact that its already been 6 months since i've left! Time is just going like crazy!
The last few day for us have just been tooooo crazy! Been in and out of members' houses eating so so much rice! Haha, i dont think weve ever eaten so much food in our life! The members have been too nice to us!
There are still like another 6 families who have invited us leading up to New years, so i think were gonna get fat haha. Even gotta pack food and hide it in my bag lol! I dont think I've ever seen and eaten so much rice!
Nevertheless though we have been enjoying this Christmas with those families in our ward, and our recent converts and investigators. Alot of people have travelled because of this time of the year to the villages and what not, so teaching is kind of difficult!
The mission work is awesome though, coming up to the end of this transfer this week. So itll be interesting to see if I'm going to get transferred or not. If not all good, the chief of Nungua will have to stay in town for another transfer haha!
I loved the pics you guys sent! Gotta miss those Christmas mornings at McDonalds haha! We cooked that french toast with Godwin in the morning which wasnt too bad...kinda like them maccas hotcakes lol!
No pics this week as i sent them last week, but hope you guys have a wonderful week and an awesome new years! As we come to the close of this year and begin a new one, look at the things that you've done well and the things that you guys havnt done well. Look for new habits (scripture study, FHE as a family) that you can better incorporate to be more in harmony with our Father in Heaven!
As a missionary it is something im striving to do everyday. Assessing the way i teach, talk and just conduct myself as a representative of our Savior, and becoming better than i was yesterday.
Anyway, I love you Mom and Dad! Hope you guys are all well! Enjoy celebrating new years! (watching the fireworks on tv hahah!) Love you's!
