Hey Mom and Dad! So what a week it has been! We were blessed to have an awesome mission tour and conference this Tuesday just gone! Elder Terence.M.Vinson from the Quorum of the 70 and his wife came and taught and gave council to the missionaries here! Coincidentally they are from Australia too, so hearing them speak felt like I was back at home again haha! They gave some really really great counsel on obedience and doing all we can as missionaries to 'wholly follow the Lord'! I've really come to recognize and rely on the Holy Ghost out here as Elder Winborg and I strive for exact obedience! You know, we have to be instruments worthy, for our Heavenly Father to use to ensure his work is done! After all this isnt the work of man, but the work of God! Thinking about it, it is such a privilege and blessing to participate in this great work in this part of the Lord's vineyard! It doesnt just apply to us guys wearing the black name tag though! Whether it be for missionary efforts or to just show our love for the Lord, when we wholly follow him, keep his commandments, keep our covenants, the Spirit can always be with us. We need to always the blessings of the constant companion ship of the holy ghost and blessings when we follow our Savior and Father in Heaven! President Heid had me go and greet them though, being another Australian and all so it was pretty awesome to get to talk to Elder Vinson! Got to chat about mission and back home, it was good! My talk went all well too! Ended up speaking on conversion and how we as missionaries can use the Book of Mormon to assist in the process on conversion! So, transfer news was given to us this Saturday just gone! Our transfers happen every 6 weeks and when you are going to a new area you take a cab to the Mission home and usually from there you take a taxi or get dropped by a senior couple to the new area! This is all irrelevant though, because I'm staying in Nungua!!! Yep, So i will have spent my first 9 months in Nungua, and to be honest I couldn't be any happier! Our ward now is really small because of the split and we've been working really closely with the Bishop and his councilors in rekindling that flame in Less actives and helping them come back to the fold! We went over our ward mission plan too, so alot too look forward too! Currently there are about 70 members at sacrament each Sunday! Before the split there were about 200-250! So a dramatic change, but we are now amongst the pioneers of ward 3 haha! We've become really good friends with these people though, so it will be really fun building the ward! So I've been blessed with another 6 weeks as Chief of Nungua haha! More so blessed since I get to spend another 6 weeks with these wonderful people! So I get to keep giving it my all here! The members were happy that the both of us are staying! We have been well though! Mind you I was sick over the week end! Think i got food poisoning which was a fail! Am doing better now though! Elder Winborg has been well. We have some baptisms coming up the end of February! So we have alot to be excited about and look forward too! Cant believe how fast time is going though! 2 more transfers until I'm at the year mark and it's pretty scary! I'm being classified as an old missionary too which is strange! Still feels like it was yesterday I was being trained by Elder Hatch haha! There's always so much we can learn about the Gospel though! Ive been learning to learn something new everyday! Hope you guys are doing great though! It's great to hear the enjoyment in you emails of striving to live the Gospel! Hope you's have a wonderful week though! Keeping you in my prayers! Love you Mom and Dad! xx Elder Fesolai So here are some pics from this past week! Sorry I really have been forgetting to take my camera out so, meh pacho (I beg) forgive me haha!
There are some of the pics of the food from this week. In the poly container is legit what the closest thing to fish and chips I found here haha! Fried yam and fish! Heck yeah! Then theres some Banku and pepe that one of our lovely members gave us to take home and eat! Theres a pic of Elder Osei-Brobbei and I at the conference just gone. So we we actually taught and baptised his Brother In Law who now stays In Nungua! Elder Osei is from Kumasi and his brotherinlaw moved from Kumasi to Nungua for work and wasnt a member! So when he found out he was baptised he was so happy to hear!

Love how you were able to find Ghana's version of Fish & Chips. So, the Chief gets to stay another Transfer in Nungua. There must be a great work for you to still do there. Continue to love and serve them.
