Hey Mom and Dad,
So this past week has been not bad at all! Elder Winborg and I have been well, we decided to go deep into parts of our area that we havnt been and do some small finding and contacting. We were able to find some who were interested but it was pretty fun getting lost haha. We have been working with this less active family quite alot though. The Husband is a less active member and so are the children, but the mother isnt. So our goal over the last few weeks was getting him back to church, and its been wonderful to see him come. He's even fulfilling his calling in the church now. Our goal is to teach his wife now and help their family get onto that straight and narrow path! The wife is definitely progressing which is really awesome to see. Another interesting experience the other day was during the middle of one of our lessons. Since we teach outside most of the time, people always interrupt and see what were doing. So this one guy (they call them selves "Rastas") had tatoos, dreds, and looked off his face and is like hey where do you worship? So we give him a rundown of who we are what we are teaching and all, and he's like okay ill come to church tomorrow. So we were like okay cool (alot of Ghanaians love to make you happy and say they will come but dont lol...). But anyway Sunday Morning he rocks up an hour early according to bishop and stays for all of church and wants to learn. It will be interesting to see how this all goes though! We have a really good teaching pool at the moment though. I think ill be in Nungua for 7 and a half months by the look of it. I really just want to leave this area with it being as good as I can make it. So Im pretty glad I get to stay here for another transfer. There are still alot of people I want to help/guide onto the path of Salvation! During my studies this week and someone mentioned in a talk at sacrament yesterday, I've really been thinking about how powerful the gospel and atonement is. And even more so, how important it is that we make it part of our lives whether we be full-time missionaries of members to share it, guide others to it and live it. In my short time here in Ghana, I've seen the enabling power of the Atonement work wonders in our investigators, and I've experienced n my own efforts as a missionary! Elder Winborg and I have been so blessed to hear of our Recent Convert's experiences doing family history work, being worthy to enter the temple and then do baptisms for their ancestors! It is absolutely awesome to see how much joy and happiness these people have recieved in living and doing the work of God! One of the guy's we baptised a few weeks ago, Dominic, is preparing to go through the temple later this year and get sealed to his wife which is a member! So awesome! Over the last few weeks we have really been witnessing the "small fruits" of our labor haha! It is so marvelous the work we get to participate in as members of this Church! The weather is slowly getting better though. Harmattan is going away small small, and its getting more humid which is nice. It has been way too dry and dusty! Lol got destroyed yesterday when we were eating Fufu at a members house. My eye was irritating me so I go to rub it...with my hand that had pepe all over it. Have to say it was one of the poorest life decisions ever as I felt fire in my eye lol! Maybe thats what pepper spray feels like...hmm We are all well and happy though! Been enjoying banku like almost everyday this week lol! Hope you are all well back at home though! Seems like everyone is doing okay! Love you's lots! Have a fantastic week! x Elder Fesolai P.s This is the smallest coconut tree Ive ever seen!!!
