What a blessing it is to hear from Elder Fesolai this evening.
Elder Fesolai's new companion is Elder Bulunga. Elder Bulunga is from the D.R. Congo and has only been out 4 months. He speaks very little English and speaks mainly French. Elder Bulunga does online English assignments every Friday morning for 2 hours at the internet cafe, so we get to hear from Elder Fesolai. How awesome is that. Elder Fesolai says he is definitely out bush and the dialect the locals speak is Ewe. So, he says will try and pick it up as quickly as possible as being in Nungua for the last 10 months they mainly spoke, Twi and Gha. Bushionary is what Elder Fesolai is calling himself now that he is serving out bush in Juapong. They are in a Branch and his Mission President told Elder Fesolai that more than likely he will be called onto the Branch Presidency to assist the Branch President and serve in a leadership position amongst the saints there. President Heid has asked him to practice playing the piano as he will be playing the organ at church as well. Elder Fesolai discribes his new area as "The Garden of Eden" Its just green, green, green. With mountains and Mango tree's all over the place. Its open slather on the mangoes too. Elder Fesolai said it has been humbling to prosylte in the outer villages in their mud huts. So here are some pics of the new area! So here is a pic of the mango tree near our apartment lol...too much enjoyment! A pic of the mountain at the back of our apartment Elder BULUNGA!!! Mr French man hahaha! And the mountains in a place called mataiko! It's really really pretty out here, and very different from Nungua!
