Hey Mom and Dad! It's fair to say this past week was for the most part great! Elder Winborg and I have been working really really hard with the Bishopric in reaching out to the Less Actives in the ward. We have also been blessed with some really great people to teach from member referrals! So the start of the week was busy, but Friday and Saturday kind of just went slow! Elder Winborg got pretty sick so he had to rest! He is all good now though! So we have started teaching this guy named Kingsley, who is the husband of a member who has just started coming back to church. And wow, is all I can really say. This guy is just so humble and you can just see that he has been prepared by the Lord to receive the Gospel. We had such a powerful lesson on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Atonement, and he brought up the topic of Baptism. His faith just blew us away, as he knew that he needed to follow Christ and that would be done by undertaking the first ordinances. Baptism and Receiving the Holy Ghost! What a blessing it is to witness this miracle create this might change of heart in the lives of others. To see Faith and the will to change in a person. The Restored Gospel is so great! Really this whole week has just been full of wonderful spiritual experiences. It's not that other weeks haven't been, but I've been really learning to recognize the promptings and feeling of the Spirit! Something that I'm still learning, but it is so wonderful! I'm so grateful for the opportunity we have to partake of the sacrament every week, to renew our covenants, and to continue to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost! Church yesterday was fun! We are always assigned to bless the sacrament due to lack of Priesthood at the moment, so it feels like I'm a priest again back in Frankston ward haha! Our ward may be small, but these people are so willing and determined to build it and magnify their callings! It was really really amazing to see so many faces of those less actives we visited during the week at church! You could see the happiness in their faces as they were able to partake of the sacrament in who knows how long! Mission life is great though. Really over these last few weeks things have kind of just been I guess clicking Gospel wise lol! Everything is just making sense, and teaching plainly is something that Elder Winborg and I have been striving for! We are both doing well! The heat is rolling back in, which is kind of over bearing sometimes haha! The humidity I think is what is making it bad! But it's all good, time to adjust back to it again! Our water has kind of been off all week aswell, just came back on yesterday to our relief. So we have been fetching it from another compound and surviving of our storage haha! Survivor missionaries right here! Hope you are both well though Mom and Dad! Always remember we can receive help and support from on high in our daily activities from the Lord! That assistance doesn't come by chance by choice! I've really come to see that out here on mission, as we are constantly on our knees praying, studying and living the Gospel and Mission Rules! In our normal lives we can always take small time to study the scriptures, give thanks to Heavenly Father, and do our best to keep the commandments! Until next week though! Love you so much Mom and Dad! Have an amazing week! x Elder Fesolai So I bought some bananas the other day and they were all literally this size, like what the? They're like little fun size mars bars you hand out as lollies in primary or something...I want my money back!
Heres a pic of my eggs that I bought. The struggle of living in apartment with 3 other hungry missionaries can be real...So we kind of mark everything haha And yesterday we were invited to prepare and eat Fufu and one of the members houses yesterday! So I was on pounding duty...I was probably doing a useless job.
